Making houses feel like homes

Welcome to my happy place

I’m Rachel. I started rk interiors because my environment affects my peace. There are not a lot of spaces that I have complete control over. Frankly, only one: my home. I quickly discovered the joy, the peace, the pride and the satisfaction of coming home to a space that I created. A space that inspires and relaxes me.

I want to create this for you.

Designing a home is a very intimate process. What gives me joy may not seamlessly translate to you or your family. That’s why I don’t want to work for you - I want to work with you. I have the creative vision, but only you understand what you need.

I can’t wait to work with you!

FAQs

  • A FREE consultation with Rachel is the perfect starting place. There’s no pressure to book a service, and she will ask questions that will help you pin down exactly what changes you should make to your space to accomplish your dream vision. This short article will help, too.

  • Not everyone sees the benefit of hiring a design consultant, and that’s okay! Here’s my honest take and a promise that I’m not trying to woo you. Is that bad for business?

  • A home that brings you joy doesn’t have to break the bank. Read Rachel’s advice to help you set realistic expectations based on the funds you have available. Remember - the investment into stylist isn’t 100% of your budget. Consider materials used and talk to Rachel about how to up-cycle your existing pieces to help save on costs!

  • An interior stylist (aka interior decorator) focuses on the final aesthetic touches (furnishings, paint, layout, etc.) and does not work with contractors to undergo structural renovations. If you are looking for architectural designs for a new home or undergoing a large structural renovation, an interior stylist is likely not the right fit for you. Come back when you’re ready for furniture, fabrics, and accessory selection!
